Jasmine SPEAKS:
Sooo...prior to this night I will admit I was a fan of Sammie's music...I even thought that he grew up to be a nice looking man. Sammie walked into the club and accidentally brushed me when I then turned around to see who touched me I noticed it was a short black man that looked about late 30's I then realized "Hey that's Sammie"...at that point all his ratings just plummetted. I guess the promoters of Sunday Night Raw thought Sammie was going to lure in a bigger crowd but that really wasn't the case...no one even realized his presence.
The reggae music was definitely on point but Sammie was giving the "WTF is going on" look to his boys...I guess he really isn't that cultured. He sang a little bit of "Kiss me through the phone" and spent the majority of the night sitting down looking confused and out of place. I am a huge hip-hop fan so when Nicki Minaj came blasting out of those speakers I was quite content.
p.s. Toronto DJs need to get up on the Nicki Minaj dubs...she's the illest bitch in the game right now!!!
Other than Sammie...the music was on point as per usual...but Sunday Night Raw has seen better nights...my conclusion Sunday Night Raw ft Sammie was IIGHTTT!!!

Vola Lounge
Jasmine SPEAKS:
The concept was innovative...you know the whole school daze thing was a play on Spike Lee's 1988 hit film "School Daze" but some people took it to a whole new level rocking Jansport book bags to a party...it's a party not a masquerade. WhiteBwoy (Vertex Sound), Dj Spoonz and Dj Lissa Monet were on the 1's and 2's. Lissa Monet definitely went in and repped for the ladies and all the hip-hop lovers. It was far from being full but those that were in attendance brought the swag...and the men...oooweee...definitely brought the swexy ;)
conclusion: School Daze was satisfactory

Toronto, ON
Presented by: Ignite and Heavy Weight Entertainment
DJ Line Up:
DJ CHARLIE BROWN (Legacy),DJ SWISS (Ignite),DJ RYCH KYDD, DJ RORY (Legacy)HOSTED BY:MC J of Legacy
Jasmine SPEAKS:
R&B lovers were in full attendance and they brought the swag. There were a few fashion mishaps but all in all people brought the swexy. Dj Charlie Brown kicked it old school by bumping such 90's hits as "I'm going down" and "Real Love" by the R&B queen herself Mary J. Blige. I got a little thrown off track considering it was a R&B party and I was definitely hearing some Backstreet Boys...last time I checked those dudes were classified as Pop artists. Nonetheless the vibes picked back up when DJ Rych Kydd got the whole crowd singing to Lauryn Hill's "Killing me Softly."
DJ Rory went to work on the reggae...he even had some of the ladies sweating out their lacefront wigs. The high rollers and ballers were definitely occupying the booths and the bottles were rolling. They were surely loose off the Goose because I was seeing some grown ASS MEN shooting up some bullet signs and yelling BOM BOM when Backstreet Boys was being played *side eye and blank stare*...I enjoyed myself and it was evident that everyone else did also...my conclusion: I LUV R&B was a hit!!
